A LOVE STORY FIT FOR THE SILVER SCREEN

Dan knew I wanted a special proposal and I spoiled it a time or two when he planned it. He told me that he planned an outing for us as we had not been out in a few weeks. I, of course, badgered him to tell me what it was. He told me we were going to a concert on Friday night at 7:00 after work, so I rushed home and got ready. It was raining. I was running late and a little frantic, but Dan told me not to worry and to come in through the garage. When I arrived there was a hand drawn sign on the garage door leading to his apartment that said “step through and re-live our past.” When I opened the door, the staircase leading upstairs was lit with pretty lights and a ton of pictures of us from through the years. At the top of the door, there was a sign he made. It was a handmade Tinder profile of him that said “Swipe Right” and when you opened it, it was our tinder pictures and said “it’s a match!” Then another sign that said, “Now come outside for our now and forever.” He was outside waiting for me in the screen-house due to rain and had a hand strung a light into a frame with a hand molded heart in the center! Then he proposed! He managed to surprise me after all.
